Brownfields 101: Creating Sustainable Communities

This intensive, one-day introduction to brownfield redevelopment is open to public, private, and nonprofit groups involved in redeveloping contaminated land. Offered regionally throughout California.

Funding Sustainable Communities

This half-day workshop is designed for municipalities, local governments, nonprofits and private developers, and anyone involved in redeveloping brownfield sites who is interested in learning about financial tools available for their redevelopment work. The workshop brings together each of the major providers of funding for environmentally-challenged property to discuss eligibility requirements, application procedures, and best practices.

Annual Trends

These workshops cover current topics related to urban infill, and sustainable development. Offered just once a year, CCLR's Annual Trends workshops have included The Art of the Deal: Environmental Restoration, Next Stop: Rail Yard Revitalization, and Recycle This! The Adaptive Reuse of Historic Buildings.

These tailor-made training seminars can be arranged for municipalities, development companies, and other organizations interested in redevelopment.
