| Oregon Coalition Brownfields Cleanup Fund |
Oregon Coalition Brownfields Cleanup Fund provides loans for site cleanup to, with certain exceptions, any individual, business, nonprofit organization, prospective purchaser, municipality, special district, port or tribe, for sites where economic or community development projects show the greatest need, exhibit long-term project viability and demonstrate the capacity of repayment. A limited amount of funding is available in grants for projects on properties owned by municipalities or nonprofit organizations. | Site Specific Assessments |

| EPA Targeted Brownfields Assessment |
EPA Region 10 provides Targeted Brownfield Assessments (TBAs) which are designed to inventory, characterize, and assess brownfield sites using EPA contractors. The TBA program is open for requests year round, and features a non competitive application process for the award of assessment services. | Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) Communities Program |
Under the EPA’s Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) Communities program, CCLR provides in-kind technical assistance and training to communities and other stakeholders on brownfields issues with the goal of increasing the community's understanding and involvement in brownfield cleanup and revitalization. The TAB grants serve as an independent source of information assisting communities with community involvement, better understanding the health impacts of brownfield sites, science and technology relating to brownfield site assessment, remediation, and site preparation activities, brownfield finance questions, and information on integrated approaches to brownfield cleanup and redevelopment. The Department of Transportation (DOT) is authorized to award $600 million in TIGER II (Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery) Discretionary Grants. Funds for the TIGER II program are to be awarded on a competitive basis for projects that will have a significant impact on the Nation, a metropolitan area or a region.

EDA announces general policies and application procedures for grant-based investments under the Public Works, Planning, Local Technical Assistance, and Economic Adjustment Assistance Programs that will promote comprehensive, entrepreneurial and innovation-based economic development efforts to enhance the competitiveness of regions, resulting in increased private investment and higher-skill, higher-wage jobs in areas experiencing substantial and persistent economic distress.

The U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA) advances economic growth by assisting communities experiencing chronic high unemployment and low per capita income to create an environment that fosters innovation, promotes entrepreneurship, and attracts increased private capital investment. EDA requests proposals for the following programs: Public Works, Planning, Local Technical Assistance, and Economic Adjustment Assistance. Under the Economic Adjustment Assistance program, EDA has allocated $14.7 million to the Global Climate Change Mitigation Incentive Fund, which supports projects that foster economic competitiveness while enhancing environmental quality. Proposals are being accepted and are being reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Eligible Entities: State and local governments, nonprofit organizations
