The Redevelopment Rodeo rides again at the National Brownfields Training Conference!
At the 2017 National Brownfields Training Conference in Pittsburgh, the first ever Redevelopment Rodeo brought together a series of bad brownfields and a panel of expert Redevelopment Wranglers. These sites were so ugly, we gave them actual rodeo bull names, like Widow Maker and the Monroe Mean Machine.
The audience got rowdy — the Rodeo was one big conversation, with tips and tricks coming in fast and furious from the Wranglers and audience alike. By the time the dust settled, eight formerly rowdy brownfields stood tamely in the corral, ready for further redevelopment.
Dust off your hat and saddle up, because the Redevelopment Rodeo rides again this December! The Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR) and partners New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Kansas State University (KSU) and Brownfield Listings are partnering to bring you another thundering herd of rough and ready brownfields. This year’s theme: attracting private investment to your rowdy brownfields beasts. CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION and complete by October 18, 2019.
