Alaska Tribal Conference on Environmental Management (ATCEM): Tell your Story – Grant Writing Workshop & Interactive Exercises
The 27th annual Alaska Tribal Conference on Environmental Management (ATCEM) is back from March 21-24, 2023 at The Hilton in Anchorage, AK! ATCEM has been a vital networking space for Tribal environmental professionals from across the state to learn from one another, connect with support organizations and agencies, and discover resources to help assist in efforts to improve local environmental health. Join CCLR and Tribal TAB at their session: Tell your Story – Grant Writing Workshop & Interactive Exercises on Friday, March 24 from 8 AM – 12 PM to get the ins and outs of completing a successful grant application.
The Center for Creative Land Recycling and Tribal TAB are hosting a Land Reuse Grant Writing Workshop to dive into the application process and receive concrete, practical guidance for preparing competitive grant proposals. This four hour grant writing workshop will cover developing your land reuse narrative, leveraging data to support your story, and creating tangible goals and tasks for your team. As part of this training, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in exercises designed to give you a headstart on grant writing – from integrating community input to understand their needs and facilitating stakeholder engagement and collaboration. You do not need to have acquired a grant or completed an application in order to attend this workshop; CCLR and Tribal TAB are here to provide the full rundown of writing a successful application from start to finish!
The Grant Writing Workshop is free and participants do not need to register for ATCEM in order to attend. Please note that this session is capped at 70 attendees. Register here!
