We are excited to announce that the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has begun review and scoring of Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) submissions! Don’t miss the opportunity to learn about this limited environmental justice funding to engage in the cleanup of a contaminated site in your community.
On July 18th, join us for a TAG Lunch and Learn to learn about the program and building the grant budget, which will significantly reduce your Technical Assistance Grant application prep time. Register here.
TAG grants, ranging from $40,000 to $150,000, can bring focus and clarity to the environmental cleanup process of contaminated properties in your area. You can use grant funds to hire and direct an independent technical advisor to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex environmental information. Eligible groups include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, community groups under fiscal sponsorship, and Tribal entities affected by an active DTSC cleanup site, who also meet the criteria of a vulnerable community.
