Michelle King, PhD
Biography
Michelle is President of EKI Environment & Water where she sets the direction of the firm and has fiduciary responsibility for the financial well-being of the firm. She is actively involved in property transactions, redevelopment projects, and site remediation to facilitate planned re-use. As an environmental consultant, Michelle assists developers and property owners assess, evaluate, and address potential risks enabling transactions and redevelopment to move forward. She has also been working on transactions with open space non-profits to preserve large tracts of open space and agricultural land and with park districts to remediate key properties in their portfolio. Michelle holds a MS and PhD degrees from Stanford University in Environmental Engineering and a BSE degree from Princeton University in Geological Engineering. Michelle is a mentor for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of Women in Environment (WIE).
