Zachery W. Clayton
Biography
Zachery Clayton is the Manager of Environmental Land Use and Planning (ELUP) within the Department of Environmental Health for the City and County of Denver. The ELUP team addresses a wide array of overlapping land use issues such as the relationship between land use and transportation systems, the relationship between economic development and environmental protection, open space preservation, brownfield redevelopment, transboundary environmental issues and environmental justice. Mr. Clayton comes to Denver from Chicago where he was employed by the City of Chicago to oversee work including urban management, Brownfields Redevelopment, environmental site assessments, and many other environmental, health and safety related programs. Previous experience also includes environmental consulting for in the Midwest and Southeast United States.
