Anna Maria Camardo joined CCLR in 2023 as Communication Coordinator. She is excited to share success stories and amplify the voices of communities resisting injustice. Previously, Anna Maria served as Managing Editor at City on a Hill Press where they reported diverse stories from artist profiles to investigative features. Her dedication to equity has also informed her experience in healthcare and harm reduction. Serving as a peer educator and medical assistant, Anna Maria got to support folks navigating complex medical systems and emotional healthcare decisions. In their free time Anna Maria enjoys exploring creative writing through zine making. They are also an amateur ceramicist and expert level bookworm.
